Protocol Education is working with a successful secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join their team. The role involves delivering Humanities across KS3/KS4, teaching History, Geography and/or Religious Studies, and supporting learners of varying abilities to achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies or related Humanities subject.
• Strong knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young people.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach History, Geography and/or Religious Studies depending on your specialism.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and high standards within the classroom.
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their academic potential.
