Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a part-time High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a local primary in Scunthorpe. The role supports children across EYFS to KS2, with Read Write Inc phonic delivery and flexibility to work across the school.

The HLTA will join a nurturing, safeguarding-focused team, starting September 2026 for the academic year into 2027, working part-time. Experience in a similar role and strong classroom support skills are essential.

Qualifications

• The HLTA must hold a TA qualification to Level 3 or above (EYP/QTS accepted).
• Experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc phonics scheme is required.
• Demonstrates flexibility, reliability and adaptability.
• Recent experience supporting children aged 5–11.
• Understands how children learn and develop.
• Experience in a similar HLTA or teaching assistant role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children in the classroom, in small groups and 1:1.
• Assist across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as needed.
• Support Read, Write, Inc phonics delivery when required.
