Job summary

Academics are recruiting a History Teacher to work on a flexible, temporary ongoing basis across Doncaster secondary schools. You will deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 & KS4, helping students understand events and develop critical thinking.

The role welcomes both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers, with flexible start dates and opportunities for general secondary cover as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous history teaching experience or secondary teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 & KS4
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Support pupils' progress and engagement
• Adapt learning to meet different pupils' needs
• Follow school planning and curriculum expectations
• Provide general secondary cover when required
