Job summary

Academics is seeking an enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to cover Years 5 and 6 across Doncaster. This temporary, flexible supply role offers engaging lessons, a supportive consultant network and the chance to experience diverse primary schools.

You will deliver well-planned lessons, maintain high expectations, adapt to different learning needs and contribute to a positive learning environment. Start ASAP or in September, with competitive daily pay and the option for longer-term

Qualifications

• QTS and primary teaching experience, esp. within Upper KS2.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Years 5 and 6 with engaging, well-structured lessons.
• Follow school planning and curriculum expectations.
• Manage classroom and maintain positive behaviour.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress as required.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
