Job summary

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Wincanton to recruit a Geography Teacher for September. You will join the Humanities department and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with optional KS5 experience.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has secondary Geography teaching experience, and demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent communication. A commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience advantageous).
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can reach their potential.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community.
• Uphold high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement.
