Teaching Personnel is partnering with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Wincanton to recruit a Geography Teacher for September. You will join the Humanities department and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with optional KS5 experience.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has secondary Geography teaching experience, and demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent communication. A commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity this September? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Wincanton seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
• Monitor student progress, providing effective feedback and support where needed.
• Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department and school community.
• Uphold high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and academic achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
