Teaching Vacancies is recruiting a dynamic and innovative Teacher of English to promote the highest standards of attainment for young people with learning difficulties, across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5.

The role requires experience in teaching secondary aged students, delivering recognised English accreditations, and a solid understanding of changes to the National Curriculum. You will foster strong working relationships with staff and uphold the school’s values and safeguarding expectations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience teaching secondary aged students
• Experience delivering recognised English accreditations
• Good knowledge of the changes to the National Curriculum
• Be able to develop good working relationships across the whole range of school staff
• A commitment to promoting high standards of overall educational provision; including the academic, social and emotional aspects.

Aufgaben

• To teach English in the school, ensuring the best possible progress and outcomes for every individual and group of learners.
• To teach students individually, in groups, or classes, and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
• To maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
• To contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors.
• To work in accordance with the requirements of the Teachers’ Standards, School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and St Philip’s School’s Policies.
