Job summary

West College Scotland is seeking Engineering Lecturers to inspire and support students across CAD, CNC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Fabrication and Welding.

We value industry experience or teaching potential, require a SCQF Level 7 qualification (e.g., HNC), CPD evidence, and a willingness to pursue a teaching qualification within a supportive, inclusive environment. Hybrid/home working options available, with a strong commitment to wellbeing and professional development.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 7 qualification (e.g. HNC) or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Time served Apprenticeship.
• Evidence of CPD in your relevant Engineering discipline.
• Creativity, organisation, and a drive to inspire students.
• Confidence in using digital tools and tech-driven teaching approaches.
• A passion for teamwork and a willingness to pursue a professional teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lecturing across Engineering disciplines including CAD, CNC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Fabrication and Welding.
• Inspire students and provide a positive learning experience through dynamic and engaging instruction.
