Job summary

Perth College UHI seeks an Engineering Lecturer to support the delivery of a growing engineering portfolio. The role involves teaching across broad engineering disciplines, developing materials and supervising projects, with both on‑campus and online delivery, including international components.

Candidates should hold a master’s degree in engineering and bring industry and teaching experience, plus strong communication and teamwork skills to shape the next generation of engineers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering related discipline (minimum).
• Industry experience would be a strong advantage.
• Previous teaching experience and ability to teach across broad engineering disciplines is desirable.
• Strong commitment to learners and current engineering industry requirements; good communication and team working skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical engineering teaching across levels 7–10.
• Prepare learning, teaching and assessment materials.
• Supervise student project work and contribute to programme development.
• Develop and deliver online teaching and our international programme portfolio, including in‑country teaching in China.
