Job summary

West College Scotland is seeking inspiring Engineering Development Lecturers to support students across Clydebank and Greenock campuses. You will deliver high-quality teaching, assess skills, and provide essential support to help learners thrive.

We welcome educators or industry professionals transitioning to teaching, with SCQF Level 7 (e.g., HNC), an apprenticeship background, engineering CPD, and a proactive, digitally-enabled approach. Hybrid/home working and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 7 in a relevant subject.
• Time served Apprenticeship.
• Engineering practitioner experience.
• Evidence of CPD in your engineering discipline.
• Creativity, organisation and drive to inspire students.
• Confidence in using digital tools and tech-driven teaching.
• Willingness to pursue a teaching qualification.
