West College Scotland is actively seeking inspiring Engineering Development Lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching at Greenock and Clydebank campuses. You will assess students, support their progress, and contribute to a dynamic classroom environment across CAD, CNC, and related disciplines.

We welcome both experienced educators and industry professionals transitioning to teaching, offering a supportive, inclusive workplace with opportunities for hybrid or flexible working where appropriate.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 7 qualification (e.g., HNC) or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Industry engineering practitioner experience.
• Evidence of CPD in engineering.
• Creativity, organisation and a drive to inspire learners.
• Confidence with digital tools and tech-enabled teaching.
• Teamwork mindset and willingness to pursue teaching qualification.
