Job summary

City View Pre-Schools & Nurseries Ltd in Canterbury is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. The role is full-time, working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, during term-time (38 weeks a year). The starting hourly rate is £12.71.

You will support learning through play, act as a Key Worker, uphold safeguarding, and work closely with families to provide nurturing care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised NNEB or NVQ level 3 or above qualification.
• Experience with: children aged 3 months to 4 years.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through play.
• Act as a Key Worker for a small group of children and build relationships with families.
• Promote the health, safeguarding and well-being of children.
• Be a role model to other staff and deliver high-quality early years experiences.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Support our Manager and the team in our Ofsted grading.
