Job summary

E-ACT Royton & Crompton Academy in Oldham is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for maternity cover to supervise lessons during teacher absence and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. You will promote high standards of behaviour, support students across subjects, and work with staff to monitor progress and provide feedback.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths and a Level 3 Cover Supervision or HLTA qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Level 3 Cover Supervision, HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supervising children in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lessons during teacher absence, ensuring students stay engaged with set work.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment.
• Support students' learning across a range of subjects and provide feedback to staff.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to the wider life of the academy.
