Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a tutor with experience in SEN settings in the Bolton area to provide 1 to 1 support for students with SEN needs. The role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to design and deliver learning plans on a 1-to-1 basis.

A therapeutic approach may be needed to re-engage students, with the overarching aim of giving students daily structure and continuing their educational development until they return to a traditional setting.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 support to SEN students.
• Create and deliver personalised learning plans.
• Use therapeutic approaches to re-engage learners.
• Provide structure to daily routines and progression of learning.
