Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester is seeking an Inspector to inspect and sentence a wide variety of aircraft landing gear components to return them to a serviceable condition with minimal repairs.

You will work within the Production team, applying Lean Sigma and 5S, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement through effective communication and IT systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ in aerospace/manufacturing
• Background in working with aircraft components
• Confident communicator with team members and other areas
• IT literate and able to learn new systems quickly
• Sound mathematical skills and problem solving abilities
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities
• Understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5S principles
• Experience with continuous improvement activities

Responsibilities
