Job summary

Safran Gloucester is seeking an Inspector to join the Production team. You will inspect aircraft landing gear components, restoring them to serviceable condition with minimal repairs while ensuring safety and reliability of critical systems. Qualifications

• Essential: Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Background in working with aircraft components - essential.
• Confident communicator with team members and other business areas - essential.
• IT literate and able to learn new systems quickly - essential.
• Sound mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities - essential.
• Flexible attitude with a can-do approach and willingness to take on new responsibilities - essential.
• Understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5S principles - essential.
• Experience with continuous improvement activities - desirable.

Your Role

As an Inspector, your key responsibility is to inspect and sentence a wide variety of aircraft landing gear components to return them to a serviceable condition with the minimal repairs necessary in accordance with approved maintenance data. You will ensure the safety and reliability of critical aircraft systems, directly contributing to Safran's mission of crafting excellence in aerospace.
