Job summary

Safran Landing Systems is seeking an Inspector to join our quality team in the United Kingdom. The role centers on inspecting and sentenceing a range of aircraft landing gear components to restore serviceability with minimal repairs, following approved maintenance data.

You will support safety and reliability of critical systems and work with engineering and operations while contributing to continuous improvement across sites. Aerospace manufacturing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Background in working with aircraft components.
• Confident communicator with team members.
• IT literate and quick to learn new systems.
• Strong mathematical skills and problem solving.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Understanding of Lean Sigma and 5S principles.
• Experience with continuous improvement activities is desirable.

Your Role

As an Inspector, your key responsibility is to inspect and sentence a wide variety of aircraft landing gear components to return them to a serviceable condition with the minimal repairs necessary in accordance with approved maintenance data. You will ensure the safety and reliability of critical aircraft systems, directly contributing to Safran's mission of crafting excellence in aerospace.
