Job summary

FRP Advisory Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Manager or Senior Manager to lead the Restructuring Advisory practice. You will oversee insolvency cases, manage client engagements, and ensure statutory compliance while guiding junior team members.

The role requires Chartered Accountant credentials, strong UK insolvency knowledge, and proven experience in managing complex restructuring assignments. Excellent reporting and stakeholder liaison skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with UK qualification and strong insolvency knowledge.
• Experience in managing insolvency or restructuring assignments.
• Excellent written and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and strong core maths.
• Collaborative team player with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, present and provide commentary on financial information including management accounts, audited accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify and comment on unusual trends or variances and their potential causes by understanding operations and linking to financial data.
• Review forecast financial models including structure and assumptions.
• Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases (administrations, CVLs, WUCs, CVAs, BKYs)
• Supervise case progression and ensure compliance with insolvency legislation
• Lead case planning, strategy, and execution with minimal supervision
• Draft and review high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with directors, creditors, legal advisors, accountants and agents
• Liaise with other FRP teams where cross-pillar expertise is required
• Undertake and review analysis into financial affairs and transactions, obtaining legal advice where required
• Identify and escalate potential risks and/or legal issues where appropriate
• Manage junior team members and contribute to their development
• Contribute to internal training, process improvement, and technical updates
