Key duties and responsibilities
- Manage a mixed case load of formal insolvency appointments and assist team members.
- Administer insolvency cases from advice to closure, including Administrations, CVLs, MVLs, Liquidations, CVAs, and occasionally, Bankruptcies.
- Address and adjudicate creditors’ claims, including retention of title, secured, preferential, and unsecured claims.
- Report to secured creditors.
- Assist in continuing to trade on-site when required.
- Prepare documentation for statutory meetings.
- Assist employees with claims and liaise with redundancy payments services.
- Handle correspondence, including non-standard communications.
- Maintain and safeguard case records and inventories.
- Conduct statutory investigations and pursue antecedent transactions.
- Manage estate monies and complete financial forms.
- Prepare VAT and Corporation tax returns.
- Ensure statutory compliance and current legislation adherence, including SIPS.
- Maintain case diaries and checklists.
- Coordinate with professional agents, solicitors, and accountants.
- Prepare supporting documents for sales contracts.
- Participate in meetings and marketing events.
- Train and support junior staff members.
Reporting, relationships & management
- Support and train staff, delegate tasks.
- Assist other case executives as needed.
- Report case progress to IP.
Qualifications & experience
- AAT or CPI qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience with corporate insolvency appointments within an IP firm required.
- Knowledge of IPS Cloud is beneficial but not essential.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and IPS.
- Maintain high professional standards.
- Stay updated with legislation and best practices.

- Maintain professionalism and interpersonal skills.
