Job summary

The Acorn Group is seeking an Insight Analyst to join our Data Analytics Team in Liverpool. You will turn data into actionable insights for Household Claims, Reserving, and potentially Pricing, working hybrid from Liverpool City Centre.

You’ll analyze performance, build dashboards in BI tools, and partner with stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements across claims and reserving processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with home insurance products.
• Ability to uncover underlying causes and implications of movements.
• Curious mindset for investigating performance data.
• Ability to deliver multiple pieces to tight deadlines.
• Confident with numbers and advanced maths.
• Experience building dashboards in BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the Household Claims operation with performance insights.
• Quantify changes and feed into the reserving cycle and discuss triangulation.
• Prioritise insight requests with business stakeholders.
• Partner with the Household Claims operation to apply data-driven decisions.
• Calculate cost-saving initiatives bridging Claims and Reserving perspectives.
