Acorn Group is seeking an Insight Analyst to join our Data Analytics Team in Liverpool City Centre on a hybrid basis. You will support Household Claims, Reserving, and potentially Pricing with data-driven insights to shape strategy and performance.

The role requires turning data into actionable insights, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and delivering dashboards and analyses that impact the business. Hybrid working, competitive salary, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with home insurance products.
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Curious mindset and initiative to investigate trends.
• Strong numerical skills and advanced maths capability.
• Experience creating dashboards in BI tools.
• Comfortable with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders up to Exec level.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead Household Claim operations using data to improve performance and reduce leakage.
• Quantify changes and feed insights into the reserving cycle, acting as the claims operations face.
• Prioritize insight requests by liaising with stakeholders across the business.
• Collaborate as a business partner to ensure data-driven decisions across Claims and Reserving.
• Develop and evaluate cost-saving initiatives across Claims and Reserving.
