Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Executive for an established engineering business in Rotherham. This varied role offers full training and progression as a senior position opens with impending retirement of a team member.

You will handle inbound enquiries, prepare quotations, interpret engineering drawings and build relationships across a global customer base within a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Sales or Technical Sales within engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience preparing quotations and handling customer enquiries.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills managing multiple enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Responding to inbound customer enquiries via email and telephone.
• Preparing accurate quotations and following them up to secure orders.
• Creating and processing job cards for production.
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent service throughout the sales process.
• Interpreting customer requirements from technical drawings and specifications.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Providing technical support and advice to customers where required.
• Working with customers across a global customer base.
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day tasks and contributing to a collaborative working environment.
