Job Title: Inside Sales Associate
Location: Sheffield – 2 days a week in office

The Client Operations team oversees the full client experience from purchase to payment, including order processing, back-order management, and proactive communication with clients to resolve inquiries and issues. As the client-facing contact, speed and professionalism are vital to ensure positive impressions, enhance the organization’s reputation, and secure repeat business.

The Inside Sales Associate, a key member of the Client Operations team, provides administrative support to sales teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain high client and teammate satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond promptly to all client queries to optimize sales activities and ensure high service levels.
  2. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely handling of client requests.
  3. Ensure sales team compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Communicate with distributors, chase, and follow up on orders to ensure timely shipment.
  5. Manage internal sales processes, including order processing, contracts, quotes, and renewals.
  6. Handle tickets raised, escalate when necessary, and maintain updated information.
  7. Manage online catalogues to ensure pricing and parts are current.
  8. Contribute data for sales pitches, RFI, and RFPs under guidance.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Experience in a high-performance, target-driven team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant professional business administration qualification, accreditation, or certification.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proactive, confident communicator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiar with CRM systems.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current IT products and general IT literacy.
  • Articulate, numerate, and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience working in a diverse, global environment with an understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to understand client needs and collaborate effectively.
  • Previous sales environment experience.
  • Quick learner of new systems/processes; proactive team player and individual contributor.
