Team Overview
The European Client Coverage team is responsible for the sales and licensing of intellectual property of S&P Dow Jones Indices. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, prospecting for new index customers, and expanding the company's commercial footprint within the territory. S&P DJI maintains relationships with investment banks, asset managers, ETF issuers, market data consumers, redistributors, insurance companies, proprietary trading firms, exchanges, and other key market participants relying on our indices, research, and commentary.

About The Role
Grade Level (internal use): 08
The European Client Coverage team handles sales/licensing of indices, builds client relationships, and manages sales pipelines. The Inside Sales team supports the regional sales efforts by managing sales leads, client inquiries, Salesforce processing, and strategic projects, working closely with regional sales reps, account managers, and channel managers.

Role
You will support the Client Coverage Team by processing sales requests, cancellations, and amendments, collaborating with Legal, Commercial Data Services, Finance, and Client Services teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with Sales to respond to inquiries via Salesforce, including licensing, billing, renewals, client maintenance, and usage reporting.
  2. Process sales deals, including orders, opportunities, and negotiations with legal teams.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Product Management, Legal, and Client Services.
  4. Work on workflow efficiency projects and strategic initiatives.
  5. Enhance customer satisfaction and adoption within existing accounts.
  6. Provide weekly updates to Sales Representatives on KPIs and regional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (preferably Italian).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 1+ years in financial services or client support roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is advantageous.
