Job summary

The post will be based on Foxley Ward, Dereham, and you will work as a member of the therapy team to support the registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Your main duties involve reviewing mobility, transfers, daily living activities and exercise programmes, feeding back progress to the therapy team.

Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust provides daily access to electronic patient records; you will receive training to use this functionality.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
• NVQ 3 in care desirable.
• Experience with people in various sectors and with end-of-life care.
• Good literacy and ongoing learning mindset.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Support physiotherapists and occupational therapists on the ward.
• Review mobility, transfers and daily living activities and exercise plans.
• Provide feedback on patient progress to the therapy team.
• Use electronic patient records daily with training provided.
