NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join the Rowanbank Clinic team, providing compassionate, recovery-focused care to adults and older adults with mental health needs.

You will contribute to nursing assessments, implement care plans, support risk management and work within a dedicated multidisciplinary team to promote wellbeing and safe, person-centred care.

Formación

• Knowledge of person-centred, recovery-focused mental health care.
• Understanding of the Healthcare Support Worker Code of Conduct.
• Awareness of current mental health legislation and relevant healthcare policy.
• Understanding of risk assessment, risk management and safeguarding principles.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, information governance and record keeping standards.

Responsabilidades

• Function as a Healthcare Support Worker within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care and support to a designated group of patients.
• Contribute to nursing assessments, implement agreed care plans and support risk assessment and risk management processes.
• Provide therapeutic, recovery-focused care that promotes mental and physical wellbeing while supporting relapse prevention.
• Recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns, vulnerability, self-harm risks and other complex needs.
• Maintain accurate records, uphold patient confidentiality, support health promotion activities, contribute to audit and quality improvement initiatives, participate in supervision and professional development.
