Job summary

OnTarget Communications is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to create high-performance analogue and digital circuits for industrial products. You will design, validate and optimize multi-layer PCBs and work closely with production teams to bring designs into manufacture.

The role involves selecting components, prototyping, testing, debugging hardware, and sailing projects from concept to production, with hands-on responsibility and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electronic circuits and PCBs (hardware).
• Familiar with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad or similar.
• Good understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Confident debugging and solving hardware issues.
• Able to manage your own work and see designs through from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design analogue and digital electronic circuits for industrial products.
• Create PCB layouts, including multi-layer designs.
• Select components and help manage component availability.
• Support prototyping, testing and product validation.
• Work with production teams and external suppliers to bring designs into manufacture.
