Job summary

Eagle-X in the United Kingdom is seeking a PCB Hardware / Electronics Engineer to own the full hardware development lifecycle from concept to production, including bring-up and production validation.

You will collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, reliable hardware that powers innovative products. The role suits engineers with 2+ years of experience in analog/digital mixed-signal design and Altium proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing electronic hardware and taking products through to production.

Job description

We're partnering with an innovative deep-tech company developing advanced intelligent hardware systems. They're looking for a PCB Hardware / Electronics Engineer to play a key role in designing the electronics that power the next generation of their products.

This is a hands-on role where you'll own the full hardware development lifecycle from concept and schematic capture through PCB layout, bring-up, testing, and production working closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mixed-signal electronic hardware from concept through to production.
• Produce schematics, PCB layouts, and support prototype bring-up and validation.
• Design electronics for sensors, motor control, embedded systems, and power electronics.

About You

Nice to Have

• EMC and compliance testing experience.
• Exposure to robotics, automation, industrial equipment, or other electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with embedded software development in C/C++ or Python.
