Job summary

OnTarget Communications in Chesterfield is seeking a hands-on PCB design engineer to create high-performance hardware for industrial applications.

You will design analogue and digital circuits, lay out multi-layer PCBs, select components, and support prototyping through production, working with suppliers and production teams.

The role requires self-motivation, strong debugging skills, and the ability to carry designs from concept to manufactured product.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electronic circuits and PCBs for hardware products.
• Familiar with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad or similar.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Able to debug and solve hardware issues.
• Capable of taking designs from concept to production and managing own work.

Responsibilities

• Design analogue and digital electronic circuits for industrial products.
• Create PCB layouts, including multi-layer designs.
• Select components and help manage component availability.
