Job summary

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) at Writtle is seeking a College Lecturer in Land-based Service Engineering or an experienced Land-based Service Engineer to join the CNH Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship programme. The role supports both teaching and hands-on technical delivery across CNH machinery.

You will engage with employers, coordinate with Basildon training centre and may travel across the UK to support workplace-based learning, including driving minibus for apprentices where required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Level 2 or equivalent required.
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Desirable endorsed teaching qualification or willingness to undertake teacher training.

Responsibilities

• Develop specialist subject delivery for level 2/3 apprentices.
• Deliver and supervise live student projects (tractor and machinery repairs).
• Support workshop operations, health and safety compliance and equipment maintenance.
• Travel to employers' sites for workplace reviews and CNH training with apprentices.
