Job summary

TEC Partners is seeking a hands-on Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development and validation of digital and analogue hardware from concept to production in Tendring, England.

You will collaborate with Product Management, software, mechanical, test and manufacturing teams, define specs, create schematics and PCB layouts in Altium Designer, and drive design reviews to ensure quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or comparable industry experience.
• 2-5 years' hardware design and development experience.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Solid grounding in power supplies, signal integrity and noise mitigation.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Define product and design specifications with Product Management.
• Design digital and analogue hardware, creating schematics and PCB layouts in Altium Designer.
• Select and analyse components for optimal performance.
• Write and run test plans, and debug and validate hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and spectrum analysers.
• Lead product development projects and support products through their lifecycle.
• Maintain technical documentation and support production, sales and customers.
• Take part in design reviews and quality audits.
