Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a proactive Design & Technology Teacher for a Brent-based secondary school. You will deliver Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential KS5 depending on experience, supporting practical learning and exam preparation.

You will plan engaging, workshop-based lessons, assess progress, maintain safety standards, and contribute to STEM initiatives within a collaborative DT department and school community.

Competenze

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Degree in Design & Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related subject is preferred.

Mansioni

• Plan and deliver practical DT lessons for KS3/KS4 (potential KS5).
• Teach design, manufacturing, problem-solving and product development.
• Assess and track student progress to support achievement.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where applicable.
• Maintain a safe workshop environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Support students in developing practical, technical and analytical skills.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in STEM projects and enrichment activities.
