Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage offers a 12-month internship focused on UK Innovation Management. You will gain hands-on experience in innovation strategy, project coaching, and ecosystem development within the Launchpad.

The role involves coaching teams through incubation, MVP development, and engagement with startups, while supporting events and internal/external communication. An undergraduate in a relevant degree is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studying relevant degree (product design, engineering or business).
• Knowledge of Defence and Space industries.
• Strong interest in innovation, creativity, curiosity, openness and teamwork.
• Able to communicate, listen and work in a technical team.
• English negotiation level; other European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support innovation management activities and project coaching.
• Contribute to ecosystem development and startup engagement.
• Assist with Launchpad operations and events planning.
