Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage offers an exciting internship within our Business Operations Team, designed for Undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in resource planning, governance and transformation.

You will interface with Business Winning and Delivery teams, helping monitor staffing across related activities and participate in a broad training library for project planning and cost control.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Business Undergraduate degree course.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• The ability to listen, understand and communicate information.
• Attention to detail and good written / verbal communication skills.
• The desire to work in an open and trusting environment.
• A strong interest in developing yourself.
• Good organisational skills and an interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems.
• Able to make decisions based on evidence.
• Experience of using databases is beneficial, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Generate and adjust resource planning projections to support the Operational Planning activities.
• Assist Strategic Planning Team to ensure seamless resource planning and establish regular dialogue across teams.
• Interact with off-the-shelf and bespoke tools to ensure data accuracy in reporting.
• Supply project history research to support operational planning and modelling.
• Support monitoring and governance over compliance and business continuity initiatives.
