Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking an Injection Moulding Toolmaker in Blackburn to join a busy toolroom. The role covers toolmaking across manual machining, grinding, and injection mould tooling, supporting production, and maintaining tooling performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Injection Moulding Toolmaker or Toolmaker in manufacturing.
• Versatile in manual machining and grinding disciplines.
• Experience with lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and grinders.
• Experience with hot runner systems and fault diagnostics.
• Self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently.
• Proactive and able to manage workload effectively, including during quieter periods.
• Hands-on approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out toolroom and toolmaking activities.
• Work with and maintain hot runner systems.
• Diagnose and resolve tooling faults on the production shop floor.
• Operate manual centre lathes and milling machines.
• Carry out surface grinding and universal grinding.
• Maintain and repair tooling to a high standard.
• Identify and resolve mechanical and tooling issues efficiently.
• Support production requirements and minimise downtime.
• Manage your own workload effectively and work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and workmanship.
