Job summary

Sierra 57 Consult Ltd is recruiting an Injection Moulding Setter for a leading injection moulding manufacturer. You will manage tool changes, set mould machines and optimise processes to meet production plans and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience with 60T-500T machines, knowledge of hot runner systems, and the ability to work effectively in a technical team. This on-site role offers development opportunities and employee benefits.

Qualifications

Industry recognised injection moulding qualification or 5 years industry experience.
Experience in setting plastics moulding machinery and operation (typically 60T-500T).
Knowledge of hot runner systems and setup.
Knowledge of various thermoplastic materials and processing parameters (PA, PP, HDPE, PC/ABS).
Problem solving and root cause analysis with quality inspection experience.

Responsibilities

Carry out tool changes effectively and safely in injection moulding areas.
Ensure continuous running of machines at optimum cycle time to produce quality products.
Work within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team.
Carry out tool and material trials.
Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ensure injection moulding processes meet scrap and efficiency targets.
Drive continuous improvements and maintain good working practices.
