Job summary

5S Recruitment Limited in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an experienced Injection Mould Setter to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will set up equipment and tooling on Injection Moulding lines, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will fault-diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain tooling while meeting KPIs.

Training in Injection Moulding Setting and experience with robotics are essential. Applicants should be familiar with different moulding material characteristics and lifting

Qualifications

• Trained in Injection Moulding Setting.
• Qualified to use Hoists / Lifting equipment.
• Good mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to recognize faults and troubleshoot.
• Experience with robotics.
• Understanding of different moulding material characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Set up all equipment on Injection Moulding lines, including tools and ancillary equipment, within required timeframes as directed by the Team Co-Ordinator.
• Ensure all Injection Moulding lines are running efficiently to meet KPIs: OEE, line efficiency, quality, and conformance.
• Complete and record all quality checks as specified by the Quality Department.
• Care for and maintain all Injection Moulding tooling, ensuring they are suitable for required tasks.

• * Shift Pattern: Continental - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

Position Overview:

The successful Mould Setter will be responsible for setting all equipment on Injection Moulding lines, ensuring efficient operation and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires expertise in fault recognition, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various moulding materials and robotics.

Key Responsibilities:
