Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter for our Kidlington site, with relocation support. You will oversee setup, parameter adjustments, and maintenance of moulding machines to ensure high-quality production.

The role requires strong problem-solving, interpretation of drawings, and a collaborative approach to meet daily targets in a fast-paced environment. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or similar manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection moulding machines per production schedules and specs.
• Adjust parameters to optimise cycle times and product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on moulded components.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine faults or defects; implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of moulding equipment for optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate production records for traceability and QA.
• Collaborate with production to meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Assist in mould changes and setup of new production runs efficiently.
