Job summary

Manpower is seeking an Injection Moulding Setter to oversee setup, adjustment, and maintenance of injection moulding machines. You will ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, adjusting parameters, conducting quality checks, and troubleshooting faults. Relocation may be available and a 4-on-4-off rotation could be offered. A strong manufacturing background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of moulding machine controls and settings (temperature, pressure, cycle times).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in plastics technology or manufacturing.

• Set up and operate injection moulding machines in line with production schedules and specs.
• Adjust machine parameters to optimise cycle times and product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on moulded components.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine faults or defects and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of moulding equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records for traceability and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with production to meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Assist in changeovers of moulds and start new production runs efficiently.

We can offer either Monday to Friday dayshift or 4 on 4 off day/night rotation.
