Job summary

Amcor is seeking a capable technician to support its manufacturing unit in the UK. You'll perform tool changes, machine setting, and ensure output meets quality standards on time.

Working in a 3-week rotating shift pattern, you will carry out safety checks, document checks, and report faults to supervisors. The role offers full-time hours with a focus on continuous improvement and safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in Engineering/Vehicle Maintenance or similar.
• Clear and proven competence of recent work in a technical role in an engineering environment.
• Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tool changes and setting for plastics moulding machinery (Injection Moulding).
• Fault finding on machinery and reporting faults when cannot be cured.
• Carry out regular safety checks and ensure QC checks are carried out.
• Maintain production logs, line clearances and pallet labels with relevant information.
• Ensure machines run with correct materials and that production checks are completed properly.
