Job summary

Amphenol Ltd in Whitstable, Kent, seeks a mould shop operator to support the production of moulded components. The role runs on a two-week rotating shift pattern, covering morning and evening shifts, with duties including tooling loading, machine setting and ensuring quality parts.

Attend to post-cure handling, inspection, and work across both injection and compression moulding processes. Follow process instructions, read technical drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement while

Qualifications

GCSE in English and Maths is required.
Experience in an injection moulding facility is preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, process instructions and manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

Mixes and mills mould materials following detailed process instructions.
Loads and sets tools and bolsters in machines, checks tooling condition.
Sets machine parameters to ensure quality moulding and adheres to process times.
Produces first-off components and inspects parts for quality against specs and drawings.
Operates injection and compression moulding machines and handles materials during production.
