You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Your role involves collaborating across AWS to uphold safety, security, and cost-efficiency, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas and ownership.

This role is for a Contract Negotiator with responsibilities for managing Amazon’s relationships with IP service providers in the EMEA interconnection markets, supporting scaling and customer demand.

As a Technical Business Developer, you'll plan and source IP interconnect and peering capacity, respond to peering requests, negotiate connections with ISPs, and coordinate with network operations to upgrade connections efficiently. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud computing, customer-focused, and skilled in technical and business judgment with excellent communication skills.

Key job responsibilities

1. Serve as a subject matter expert on “eyeball” IP networks in your region.
2. Organize, track, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver new IP interconnect capacity.
3. Develop capacity plans for effective delivery of Amazon content.
4. Establish peering at new interconnect facilities globally and ensure timely upgrades with network teams.
5. Negotiate improved interconnection relationships with external providers.
6. Collaborate with business development, legal, and deployment teams to implement strategic plans.
7. Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and meetings.
