Role Overview

This Technical Business Development role focuses on Contract Negotiation, managing Amazon's relationships with IP service providers in EMEA, supporting scaling goals and customer demand.

As a Technical Business Developer for Internet Services, you will plan and source IP interconnect and peering capacity, respond to peering requests, negotiate connections with ISPs, establish peering at new Internet exchanges, and coordinate with network operations to upgrade connections efficiently. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud computing, customer-focused, and skilled in technical and business judgment, with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on regional 'eyeball' IP networks.
  • Organize and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver new IP interconnect capacity.
  • Develop capacity plans to enable scalable content delivery.
  • Establish peering with partner networks globally and ensure timely upgrades.
  • Negotiate improved relationships with external network providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including business development, legal, and deployment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and meetings.
