Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled 3rd Line Infrastructure Support Specialist to join a well known global Insurance Company.

Working within a small and dedicated UK team, the ideal candidate will come from a background of supporting environments which cover Microsoft, Insurance and Azure Services (Device management, Entra ID and SAML).

This 3rd Line Infrastructure Support Specialist is paying an annual salary up to £65,000 and will include a Performance Related Discretionary Bonus, 28 days core annual leave, and you can buy up to 5 days. Pension is up to 15%, Private Medical cover for yourself and Family members/dependants can be added. There is a Flex Fund: £1,000 (pro-rated based on start date) to spend on flexible benefits and Life Assurance is 5 x annualised base salary.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver infrastructure upgrades and migrations
• Provide 3rd line technical support, resolving complex issues, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance system performance.
• Document processes, and guiding best practices across the infrastructure function.
• Resolve complex issues, escalated by 1st and 2nd line engineers.
• Implement minor adjustments while following the change management procedures.

• VMware

• Citrix - Citrix Cloud and Citrix DaaS
• Nutanix or other Hyper Converged Infrastructure
• Strong experience in Windows Server, Group Policy and Desktop Operating Systems
• Configuration Manager administration
