About this role

As an Infrastructure Specialist with our global Workplace Technology team, you will work with a group of other specialists to provide tech solutions to our users around the world.

Your responsibilities include keeping internal systems operational at all times and participating in innovative projects to automate and improve these systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Monitor systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Implement security best practices, including patching, firewalls, VPNs, and backup solutions.
• Automate repetitive tasks and configurations using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

What you will bring:

• Proficiency in managing cloud environments (Azure and AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Solid knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing).
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with monitoring and notification tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Datadog, Zabbix, Solarwinds, Nagios, PRTG, Opsgenie, Pagerduty).
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash, Python preferred).
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Azure Backup, AWS Backup).
• Understanding of identity and access management (Azure AD, LDAP, SAML).
• Experience with Azure AD Administration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Serverless Framework).
• Basic knowledge of Github/Gitlab repositories.
