Location: London

Role Description

We are looking for an AWS DevOps and Infrastructure Specialist responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing AWS infrastructure and DevOps processes. The focus is on high availability, scalability, reliability, and increased automation to improve operational efficiency. This is an individual contributor role with no people or project management responsibilities.

Primary Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and DevOps in production environments
• Proficiency in AWS DevOps stack
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Shell scripting
• Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation
• Knowledge of networking, Linux/Unix, security, and system administration fundamentals
• AWS Certifications including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (must have), and others like Solution Architect Professional, SysOps, Developer (nice to have)

Required Skills

• Designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using AWS and external tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Sonar
• Using automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and security automation
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef and Puppet
• Knowledge of networking concepts including VPN, DNS, VPC, API Gateways, Load Balancers, Firewalls
• Designing distributed log aggregation and monitoring frameworks
