Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure to drive financial performance and governance on complex infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with site teams, clients, and JV/Alliance partners to ensure rigorous cost control, accurate forecasting, and effective contract management.

Essentially, you will handle CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and commercial plans, using EVM and cost analysis to monitor profitability.

Qualifications

• Education: HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent construction management qualification).
• Experience: commercial experience in civil engineering or major infrastructure.
• Contract knowledge: practical understanding of NEC / ICE forms and Construction Law.
• Commercial: CVR reporting, earned value analysis, procurement, and variation valuation.
• Core skills: numeric, analytical, negotiation; advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial performance and governance on infrastructure projects with site teams and JV/Alliance partners.
• Produce monthly CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and commercial plans across projects.
• Apply EVM and cost analysis to track profitability and expenditure.
• Administer NEC/ICE contracts and manage payments, variations, and claims.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, measurements, valuations, and accruals.
• Advise Project Managers on cost control and engage with clients and suppliers.
