Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Warrington/Birmingham. You will help manage commercial aspects from procurement through to final accounts on major civil engineering projects.

The role requires NEC contracts knowledge, experience in civil engineering or rail, and strong commercial and financial management skills. Rail experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience with subcontract management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Rail experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.
• Prepare applications for payment, variations, compensation events and final accounts.
• Produce monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and accounts.
• Support change management, risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project and Site Managers.
• Administer NEC contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support commercial decision-making across projects.
