Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to support infrastructure projects in civil engineering, including rail and highways. You will manage procurement, CVRs, forecasts and final accounts on a portfolio of major schemes.

The role is permanent and full-time, with a salary of £50,000–£72,000 and benefits including a company car or car allowance, pension, health plan, and ongoing development opportunities from a Warrington or Birmingham base.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience with subcontract management, valuations and final accounts.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills.
• Relevant QS qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for payment, variations, compensation events and final accounts.
• Produce monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and accounts.
• Support change management, risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project and Site Managers.
• Administer NEC contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support commercial decision-making across projects.

An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established infrastructure contractor, supporting a portfolio of civil engineering projects

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to gain exposure to major infrastructure schemes while developing their career within a supportive and growing commercial team.

The Role

You will support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, including:

• Preparing applications for payment, variations, compensation events and final accounts.


• Producing monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.


• Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations and accounts.


• Supporting change management, risks and opportunities.


• Working closely with Project and Site Managers.


• Administering NEC contracts and ensuring contractual compliance.


• Supporting commercial decision-making across projects.

About You
