Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Facilities Management Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects at HMP Northumberland. You will manage lifecycle replacement, capital expenditure and client-led initiatives, ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance.

Reporting to the Head of Client Infrastructure Projects, you will coordinate subcontractors, stakeholders and contractors while upholding quality standards and statutory requirements in a fast-paced, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing infrastructure or construction projects within a Facilities Management environment.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, project governance and statutory compliance.
• Good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of infrastructure projects across HMP Northumberland through specialist subcontractors.
• Support lifecycle replacement, capex and client-led business improvement projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring quality, programme delivery and Health & Safety compliance.
• Carry out quality inspections and implement corrective actions as required.
• Maintain records of new infrastructure assets and preventive maintenance schedules according to SFG20.
• Monitor and report project progress and risks.
• Manage contractor relationships and supplier onboarding.
